Rosewood Pop-Up Rolling Bar - Kai Kristiansen
Rosewood Pop-Up Rolling Bar - Kai Kristiansen
Cleverly designed mid-century modern Danish teak table with a concealed bar that pops up to reveal interior space for bottles and glasses. Outer surfaces and handles appear to be rosewood, although color has faded considerably over the years so that it almost looks like teak. The top surface and the lower surface inside are black laminate, safe for liquids, and there is an elevated narrow shelf for glasses. At first glance it just looks like a rolling table but apply downward pressure to the top and the hydraulic lift will rise up to reveal whatever bottles and glasses you choose to store. Use it as a coffee table or side table when not in use as a bar.Attributed to Kai Kristiansen and made in Denmark. Very good vintage condition with some wear to the finish. The fading to the finish is consistent all around, so it looks quite nice. 26.75" wide, 21.5" deep, 22" high when closed, 34.75" high when open, 14.5" interior height.
