Gary Hamel is a New Hampshire-based visual artist known for paintings, assemblages, and collages often exploring New England history. A life long and highly respected member of the Upper Valley art scene, he is based in Canaan/Orange, New Hampshire. He has decades of experience, including artist-in-residence roles and exhibitions at local museums. He has worked as an artist-in-residence at local fairs and museums and has previously sold work in New Hampshire and Maine galleries.
